Waiward’s goal is to provide a workplace that protects each employee, the environment and Waiward property. The safety program involves 100% participation by employees at all levels. By providing proper equipment and continuous safety training under the direction of a full-time safety manager, Waiward continues to lead the industry in achieving an accident-free workplace.
Employees at every level, including management, are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job, is necessary for the safety excellence that this company expects. Management supports coordination of safety among all workers on the job site.
Management supports participation in the program by all employees and provides proper equipment, training, and procedures, improving safety measures wherever possible.
An injury and accident free workplace is our goal. Through continuous safety and loss control efforts, we can accomplish this.
